The Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame put on an exhibit of costumes from Sci-Fi films and TV shows. It was a fun exhibit with costumes from Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, Star Trek, and more. The curators wanted the exhibit to have a glitchy alien library feel. Part of that was an animated exhibt map.
The Flash-based map displayed the costumes while blinking their location in the exhibit on the map. We used a projector to throw the 6’x8′ image.
The disks circled the costume and rotated images based on the costume queue. I devloped the layout, developed the animation concepts, coded the Flash, designed the map images, edited some of the costume images, and installed the hardware into the exhibit.
